UWYH Challenge #11

The Sweet Stamp Shop's Use What You Have Challenge #11 (UWYH) inspired me to pull out this stash of Imaginesce Sole Sisters paper and embellies.

I think I've only made one layout with this collection. I've found it a little difficult to use because most of my layouts are about a 3 year old who isn't really into purses and heels quite yet! So, great to challenge myself to use it.

First, a layout using the current sketch at The Paper Bakery Kit, no stamps on this one. I added some extra embellies from my stash, but it's mostly 'Sole Sisters'.

Second, a Thank You card for my sister. I wear really tiny size 5.5 shoes, and so does she, so she sympathizes with the hard time I have finding cute shoes. She gave me a gift certificate to DSW, and don't you know I found a cute pair of size 5.5 pumps last week! I used the retired Sweet Stamp Shop set 'Oh La La'. The full sentiment reads "Shoe shopping is a form of exercise"

Jenny, you are truly my 'Sole Sister'!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Arcade Action

I pulled out some Amy Tangerine 'Sketchbook' to make this fun layout.  I used the current sketch over at The Paper Bakery (you have until July 13th to link up!).

And since this paper collection has this great neon color scheme, I'm linking up with the S.W.A.T. Challenge Blog (entries due at the end of July).

Here's my layout. The great thing about taking a 3-year old to the arcade is that she doesn't really know that you have to put money in to really 'drive' the car. She just wants to sit down, press some buttons and turn that steering wheel. Love it!!

Here's another picture so you can see those awesome sequins up close!

Thanks for stopping by!

Just me & the moose

I saw this cute sketch at The Paper Bakery and thought I would give it a try.

Here's my layout:

I started with the multi-colored chevron paper by Crate Paper and matched up various stickers, papers and washi tape. I'm loving this color combo!

Cardstock background: WRMK
Patterned papers: Crate Paper, Authentique, Cosmo Cricket
Stickers: Crate Paper, Echo Park
Letter stickers: American Crafts, Jillibean Soup
Washi tape: My Mind's Eye and some from my stash
