I'm up at Sweet Stamp Shop today.
Here are a couple sneak peeks of my project.
Ah, that gorgeous Amy Tangerine 'Sketchbook' collection again! I think I still have some left...

Sweet Stamp Shop July Release
Hey there, my bloggy friends!
I've been on vacation with my Wisconsin family, but I'm back, just in time for the Sweet Stamp Shop July Release party! Nicole sent me two sets to work with, Dia de los Muertos and Starts Here.
A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about making your own project life-type journaling and title cards. I couldn't resist making a few more with the new Starts Here set:
Recognize any other Sweet stamps up there? I used typography from Spin Me and Today Was, along with the new set!
Dia de los Muertos is such a unique stamp set! If you've never heard of it, Dia de los Muertos is a Latin American holiday that takes place the day after Halloween. The images work great for Halloween, too! I made these tags that I can use on treat bags for my nieces and nephew. I just stamped and masked the images, then colored with some Peerless watercolor papers and my water brush.
I am completely in love with Nicole's rose images! So I created a black and white background by repeatedly stamping this rose. And pulled out those watercolors again to color some in pink.
The "Love You" sentiment is from Wheely Like You.
Finally, I have a card that I made when I saw the inspiration photo for Pinspired Challenge #14.
Here's the inspiration photo:
And here's my card, using the solid roses this time, with peach and orange ink and some washi tape.
Now, head on over to the Sweet Stamp Shop blog to get some more DT inspiration, and to get your coupon code good through tomorrow! While you are there, be sure to become a follower!

Scrap Our Stash July 15 Challenge
Time for my next guest design post for Scrap Our Stash! The challenge this time is a Sketch + Stash challenge, so follow along with the sketch, and add this stash item: BLING!
I have the hardest time scrapping Christmas photos. But, I think I've finally figured out the problem. I need to stick with papers that are a bit muted in color, and stay away from anything over-the-top Christmas-y. I've used two different collections on my layout: Lawn Fawn Fa-La-La and My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland. Some presents and snowflakes, and that's enough to get across that it's a Christmas layout.
And when it came to adding bling, I sprinkled some rhinestones around. I then added enamel dots (not qualifying bling, btw) for some color:
This is seriously the third time I tried to scrap these photos. I am so happy with how this layout turned out, it is going straight into my album. Thanks to SOS for such a fabulous sketch!
Happy Scrapping!

Sweet Stamp Shop - Project Life cards
I'm up at the Sweet Stamp Shop blog today, sharing some journaling and title cards that would work great for Project Life! Head over there to see the three completely different card sets that I made.
If you are like me and don't regularly do Project Life type layouts, you can use your cards on a regular 12x12 layout! After putting together the
title, journaling and photos, I just added some extra embellies like washi
tape and stickers, and then some extra stamping to compliment my
specific photos. Having the pre-made cards ready made everything come
together quickly!
Notice how I used some Alpha Tabs to add a little more detail to the layout.
Thanks for coming by today, enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Arcade Action
I pulled out some Amy Tangerine 'Sketchbook' to make this fun layout. I used the current sketch over at The Paper Bakery (you have until July 13th to link up!).
And since this paper collection has this great neon color scheme, I'm linking up with the S.W.A.T. Challenge Blog (entries due at the end of July).
Here's my layout. The great thing about taking a 3-year old to the arcade is that she doesn't really know that you have to put money in to really 'drive' the car. She just wants to sit down, press some buttons and turn that steering wheel. Love it!!
Here's another picture so you can see those awesome sequins up close!
Thanks for stopping by!

Wheely Happy For You
I've got a card inspired by these two challenges:
Sweet Stamp Shop - Use What You Have Challenge #8
Artful Delight - July Card Sketch
First...here's my stash of ribbons for the UWYH challenge. I don't really own full rolls, just a few yards of each. Check out the cool ribbon holder... I haven't even mounted it to the wall yet!
It just sits on the closet shelf, Ha!

And then here's the card sketch I'm playing along with:
I used the new Sweet Stamp Shop "Wheely Love You" set. I then colored the images with some watercolors. I'm new to this watercoloring thing, but it is just so much fun, I don't even care that I went out of the lines a bit :) I used my brand new Peerless Transparent Watercolor papers and a water brush.
After coloring the images I added some glitter brads and two of my ribbons to finish it off.
Yay! So glad to find a little challenge crafty time! Have a great week, everyone.

Scrap Our Stash July Guest Designer
Last month I found a fabulous scrapbook challenge blog, Scrap Our Stash. I've been working hard to use up my stash this year, especially patterned papers, so I find their challenges to be the perfect way to dig into my supplies. I'm happy to be their guest designer this month!
The July 1st challenge is to use red, white, and blue, along with at
least 3 premade stars from your stash. I used ScrapbookSteals.com Peridot 7 sketch and pulled paper from a variety of companies, plus some Jillibean Soup red and white stars, to create this layout:
These are just some photos of my daughter
looking cute, no particular story to tell, so I left the journaling
out. But there is some space under the second photo to add something later
if I change my mind.
Patterned papers: Jillibean Soup, Fancy Pants, Cosmo Cricket
Stickers: Jillibean Soup, KI Memories
Canvas stars: Jillibean Soup
Arrow clips: Freckled Fawn
Washi tape: Bella Blvd.
Title letters: Pebbles
Star stamps: Sweet Stamp Shop
Date Stamp: American Crafts
Ink: Memento
I hope you'll play along at Scrap Our Stash this month!
Thank you, Brenda and Rochelle for letting me guest design for you!
